RAZ-Kids

Hello Parents and Families!

We started RAZ-Kids this week! For those of you who do not know what this is, it is a differentiated reading program. Each of your children are leveled according to their current reading abilities.

Each night please have your child spend at least 20 minutes reading and listening to the books in their library! My favorite strategy for the kiddos to use when reading a book is: "Listen, Listen, Read, Read" and then they can take the quiz about the story. Please make sure your kiddos are taking those quizzes so I know when to pass them to the next level!

Below is the login link and a picture of what the login should look similar to:

Parents I have finally gotten together all of the resources for you guys to use at home!

Under the Language Arts tab is all of the videos we use in class to teach the letter names and sounds.

Under the Math tab I have put up the rhymes your kiddos have learned to help them write their numbers the correct way!

Remember that if your child is struggling with writing any of the letters or numbers find fun ways to practice with them at home! Some ideas are:

Salt Trays

Shaving Cream

Paint in a Bag (for those who are in the car a lot!)

Good afternoon parents!

Just wanted to send out a friendly reminder that tomorrow is a minimum day! The school day will begin at 10:30 a.m. and pick up is at 12:45 p.m.! Lunch will be required for all students to attend. I have not received any e-mails back saying you do not want your child to eat so I am assuming all of the children are eating lunch with us. Please let me know if this is incorrect!

Also, tomorrow is also a free dress day! Have your child bring in $1 in an envelope with his/her name on it for free dress. If your child is wearing free dress without paying, he or she will be sent to the office to change into a uniform.

Finally! Tomorrow is our hat day! Our hat day is for KINDERGARTEN only! I am so excited to sort with your children!

Have a great night and see you tomorrow!
